History
This building is part of a strip on West Chester Pike, across from the fire station. Although, 16, 18, and 20 WCP are different addresses, they are all currently occupied the by the same tenant and are part of the same "construction"/domicile.
16 West Chester Pike

In 1933, it was listed as a 2 room kitchen & bath, presumably on the top floor where the apartment was. That year, a "Damerau" delicatessen & grocery is listed at the address. Erna M. Beckman is listed there in 1935. Greene's Pharmacy was located there from at least 1959 to 1966, concurrently with R.A. Protheroe and Corning Tehnical Rep.
1950 census: Upholsterer William is living with his wife and son.
| Name | Age | Relation to Head of Household |

18 West Chester Pike
Bergin Upholster Co. is listed at the address in 1942, which presumably were the Bergers in 1950. Grant's Radio & Appliance (later Grant's Radio & Electric) was there from at least 1947 until 1948. By 1950, it was Woods Appliance center, and was so through at least 1956, when it became Dan Hurley's D.J. Hurley, Co. General Supplier. It lasted until at least October 2009, but in 1984 T.R.T. Rento Co. by Raymond J. Whoriskey was opened there.

20 West Chester Pike
In 1930, the location was a Suburban cleaners & dryers store and was also registered as Llanerch Upholstering, which may be the same as 18's Bergin.
1950 census: Armored car guard Truman living with wife and daughter.
| Name | Age | Relation to Head of Household |
|---|---|---|
| Truman Lewis | 40 | Head |
| Fannie Lewis | 29 | Wife |
| Norma D. Lewis | 1 | Daughter |
Hilltop Realty Co. was listed under the property in 1956 (same with the other two addresses), and was later occured by Barrett-Smith, Mr. Long, and Allied Products Co. during the 1950s. It has been merged with 18 as one full unit probably by the time of Dan Hurley.
